Hello everyone

You may notice that there’s no comic today. That’s because I’ve decided to put Orful Comics on hiatus for a few weeks.

I’ve been mostly concentrating on getting Scene City 3 finished recently (more on that later) which hasn’t really given me much time to work on the webcomics. Any time that I have had to work on the comic, I’ve felt rushed as I’ve been trying to squeeze it into one evening around work, freelance jobs, Scene City, trying to organise a house move and having a social life. It’s affecting the quality and it quite frankly, makes me want to not draw.

I’ve always said I’d not draw comics if I didn’t enjoy it and right now, I am not entirely enjoying drawing Orful Comics.

This does not mean I am ending Orful Comics. This simply means I am putting it to one side for a few weeks until I feel like drawing it again.

I do apologise to my regular readers and you know I hate to do this but I feel it is necessary. I’ll be back before you know it! If you ARE desperate for some Orful Comics, y’know you can always pick them up from my store don’t you…

OTHER NEWS!! WHAT’S HAPPENING?!?!

First up, I’ll be exhibiting at London Film and Comic Con this weekend at Kensington Olympia!

Never exhibited here before so have no idea what’s happening really. I don’t have a table number for you or anything so you’ll just have to come seek me out. I assume there’s a special little area for us comicers that will be dead easy to find but you know what they say about assumptions…

Another bit of news, Scene City 3 is WELL on schedule for a November release! Only one page eft to pencil, I’m halfway through inking and about a the same on lettering and toning. Expect to see it for the first time at Thought Bubble Festival in Leeds in Saville’s Hall

Anyways, think that’s enough rambling from me

See you at LFCC
