October news round-up
26 October 2012Mornin’ all! How’s it going? Lots of news for you this week. Hope you’re sitting comfortably
NEW COMIC
Yes it’s Friday, and that of course means it’s new comic day. Go check out this week’s offering over on the site.
MCM EXPO
I’ll be off to MCM Expo in a couple of hours. It’s the busiest con of the year for so pretty stoked to be back. I’ll have all the usual books, artwork and prints for sale so come say hello.
You can find me in the Comics Village on table B12 alongside my wonderful buddies Matt Dyson and Luke Surl.
NEW BOOKS
I’ve been harping on about this for months but now I can finally say that my new books have been sent off to the printers! Scene City 3 and Orful Comics 3 will be ready in time for Thought Bubble festival in Leeds as well as a re-print of Scene City 2 with a shiny new cover.
Very excited to get these new books in my hands and, more importantly, into YOUR hands! If you want to catch up on my existing books, they’re all very handily on sale through my store.
GALLERY OF MO
The Gallery Of Mo website has been live for a couple of weeks now and between us we have drawn some fantastic portraits and raised over £2500, and it’s not even November yet!
I attended the Movember launch party in London last week as part of the Gallery Of Mo team and it was an over whelming success! The stall was so busy all night and I ended up having to do two shifts to keep up with demand. Lots of fun was had, many moustaches were drawn. Thank you to the organisers for inviting me.
Please, if you can afford to give even a pound to help battle prostate and testicular cancer, head on over to the Gallery Of Mo site and get a portrait done.
That’s all for now.
See you at MCM.
Peace
-Rob
