So I decided to do Hourly Comic Day this year. I’d not done it for about three years and even as late as drawing the first strip, I wasn’t sure if I could be bothered to do it this year either.
But bothered I could be and so here we are.
Actually quite enjoyed doing it and was committed enough to bring the notepad and pencils out with me for the evening for a gig/party. Even considered for a while carrying on into the next morning to document the party but after a few rums and a Jagermeister too many, that never happened. I guess you’ll just never know what happened next! (Here’s a hint: GLITTER!)
Good morning ladies and worm-babies! How are we today?
First up, yes, it’s Friday, have a new comic!
Next up, I GOT MAH NUE BOOKZ!! Stayed home from work on Tuesday to wait for the delivery man to arrive and sure enough he did with three boxes of the shiniest, newest comics you ever did see! Scene City 3, Orful Comics 3 and a lovely re-print of Scene City 2 are now in stock and available from Thought Bubble Festival on the 17th and 18th November. I will be at table 137 in New Dock Hall, Leeds where you can pick them up along with all my other usual goodies.
Final bit of news, I’ll be at Comiket at the Bishopsgate Institute, London tomorrow, again, selling all the usual junk. Come say hello, I miss your face.
That’s all for now, have a brilliant weekend
p.s. Go see Frankenweenie! It’s bloody brilliant!
It’s Oh F*** Week over at Corporate Skull as it approaches the end of issue 4 and so to celebrate, I did a little fanart for it. If you don’t read Corporate Skull, you’re basically a moron. It’s rapidly become one of my favourites since it started just over a year ago and I can’t wait to see how issue 4 ends.
Bigger version here.
After 2009′s travesty of an attempt of an Hourly Comic (in which I broke every rule in the book) I decided 2011 was the year I did it PROPERLY! Every hour on Feb 1st, I drew a comic about something that happened in the hour. I must admit, it was a lot more tiring than I had expected! Just wanted it over by the end
Anyhow, here goes nothing!
Pretty happy with the results y’know! Although it’s tiring as hell, count me in next year for sure! Maybe it’ll be a slightly more interesting day!
